As easy as that sounds, people aren't just going to drop their guns because a few people do not like them. Sure gun kills, but remember some may argue they use their guns to go out hunting game every season. Petitions is an okay idea, but it doesn't always work. If you do get one going, you are going to need a stronger argument.
